Yes. You do not need to provide a credit card to create your cluster. Every account receives 500 MB of database storage, 20 compute hours, and 2 GB of data egress free every month forever.

How does serverless pay-as-you-go billing work?

You are only charged for what you use beyond the free monthly allowance. Active compute is metered strictly per second while executing queries ($0.04/hr). When idle, compute costs $0.00. Storage is billed at $0.12/GB-mo and egress at $0.08/GB.

What happens if my usage exceeds the free allowance?

You will receive a gentle dashboard notice and email notification inviting you to attach a payment method. Your databases will continue running during a grace period so your users experience zero interruption.

What if my team needs custom VPC peering or compliance?
